Join us on Sunday mornings at 9:45am for Sunday School, and 10:50 for our Sunday morning Worship service.

For a more in-depth time of Bible study and discussion, we have services Sunday and Wednesday nights beginning at 6pm.

What do I wear?

It doesn’t matter to us if you wear a suit or dress, or jeans and a t-shirt — what matters to us is that you simply come!

What do the services look like?

Our music is a blend of Traditional Hymns as well as songs that are more Contemporary — we believe whole-heartedly that the ‘style’ of music is far less important than the Heart of the person singing it!

Our preaching is Biblically grounded and applicable to the different challenges we face in life today.

At First Baptist Church, we simply desire to walk obediently with the Lord alongside a group of Believers that are invested in each other’s lives.

We desire Intentional Community, and Authentic Fellowship…

Meaning, we LOVE spending time together with our church family!

Our number one priority is to reach the community of Jay, Oklahoma with the Love of Jesus Christ. We are situated right in the Middle of town, so our Calling is simply to be the hands and feet of Jesus — to serve the people in our community, meeting both physical AND spiritual needs.

So whether you’re still unsure about Spiritual matters, or if you’ve been walking with Jesus for a long time, we welcome you to spend this next season of Ministry with us as we all discover our Next Steps in Christ.

Serving God looks different at First Baptist Church Jay than it does in most other churches! We desire to be a church that serves our community on more days than simply Sunday!

1 Peter 4:10 says:

“Just as each one has received a gift, use it to serve others, as good stewards of the varied grace of God.”

We are each equipped in unique ways in order to serve in God’s Kingdom, therefore, in order for FBC to be able to fulfill our Calling to God,
